China Day 1

The journey,

I am not a big fan of flying, so when the AST Tour called and asked me to go to the China Invatational, I said of course i will go!, not really thinking things through too much, I had over looked the 13 1/2 hour flight! Good one Jamie!

And so I set off for China with my good friend Stevie MCcann in tow, unfortunately, Stevie never Made it out the state College Airport, as the story goes, he turned up and the oompah lumpah on the check in would not let him on the flight, according to the oompah she said he was late and the he had to be here 2 hours before the commuter flight to Washington, according to Stevie said person is a complete b*tch and hates bike riders, fairy nuff!

Anyhow, off I trot with the rest of the riders to China, its a long flight, but, when you go over the top of the world you see some amazing things, Northern Canada is beautiful, and some of the cloud formations en route where just amazing, also when you sit next to someone from Argentina, one of the first questions they ask you is ” Do you like football” the next one after that is “do you know Maradonna” of course I know Maradonna, everybody in England knows Maradonna! Fat washed up footballer,Hand of God, etc.

Land In China, my first ever visit and the weather was not that good very overcast, alot of haze, I was to find out later that that was SMOG!

We all get collected at the Airport and they have a camera guy filming and all these people are looking at us like we are NKOTB on their comeback tour, crazy scene, lots of people smoke in China, and the Olympics is everywhere you look, and so is David Beckham in his underpants.

Get to the Hotel after going through rush hour traffic, not for the faint of heart, check in, shower, power nap(joke), get some food and its off to bed!
