After a couple of days of relaxing, we got to ride and do some work on the rountines for the demo’s that we would be doing as a part of the AST Invatational event, I also filmed some good lines and tricks with Will Stroud from Levis, as we had to do a new Clip of the week and the up coming levis DVD that will be out later this year.

That left us with some spare time in the afternoon, so with out guide Li we headed off to the Forbidden City, whilst everybody else went shopping, the city is very popular with tourists and it is strewn with people trying to either sell you a Rolex or some Olympic merchandise.
When you walk in to the Forbidden City you get strange feeling’s when walking around certain area’s, after walking through the first courtyard we walked into one of the main area’s in the city, it was a place were they would assemble their armies and the Emperor would communicate with the people, it had a very uneasy feel surrounding it, myself and Will both felt like a lot of bad things happened there.

The city though, was very well maintained and the workmanship on the houses is incredible, such fine detail and wonderful colors.

Throughout the city are incredible sculptures and stonework, it truly was a treat to see this place and I a grateful that my bike takes me to such amazing places.
On a side note Jimmy walker is the king of street bartering, need to haggle over a watch Jimmy has your back!
Cheers
Jamie
