China day 5

For us its just a demo, but for the Skaters its was a contest, today the AST China Invatational gets under way.

The demo went alright, I screwed up a bit by going quicker than Jimmy on some vert doubles, but, for the most part it was a good show, everyone seemed very happy with the performance of the bikers, and the crowd went nuts!

The skate contest went straight to finals, a ton of my favourite skaters turned up and it made for a great contest, I had not seen Sandro Dias for a long time, so to see him ride was a treat, and as usual just killed it, he is just so good to watch!

In the end PLG took the win, his shiny Breitling watch must have dazzled the judges, but it was a great showing for young Adam Taylor and Alex Pearlson, these two are the future stars of skate vert.

They had a Best Trick contest at the end of the day and Sandro fired out the 900, it was a good one too, high and clean, Danny Mahr killed it kickflip Mctwist and a backside kickflip 3 where some of the best tricks I had seen all weekend!

And so they crowned the winners and we all went back to the Hotel, some people crashed out while others sat in the 20 different hot tubs in the hotel Spa, the had one full of Turkey Fish that would eat the dead skin off you, I could only take it for 10 seconds, not my thing at all! Give me the Salt bed!

While in China Myself and Will Stroud got to compete in the Tsingtao World Table Tennis Championship that happened most nights in the games room, some of the world most volatile Table Tennis players threw down or had a couple too many Tsingtao and played Archery, you can only imagine eh!

Cheerio
